The August school board meeting date has been changed to Thursday, August 10, 2023. The meeting will be at 5:30 at the district office.

A student is considered completely registered once they have submitted all of the following:
- All required immunization forms
- Complete lunch application
- Both residency documents
- Online Registration Packet
Any student not fully registered by August 14th will not be allowed to attend classes.

At approximately 2:00 on the afternoon of April 27, 2023, two former Byhalia students made entry into Byhalia High School. Both were confronted by the School Resource Officer and escorted out of the building without incident. Neither person had a weapon of any type. Due to this incident, the district is evaluating its security procedures and will make necessary changes to ensure the safety of students and staff.

On April 14, 2023, The H.W. Byers campus administration received a report of a student making a threatening statements. The Marshall County Campus Police have investigated the threat, and appropriate authorities are involved. Measures have been taken to ensure the safety of all students in regard to this matter. The Marshall County School District is grateful for the support of concerned community members to help keep our campuses safe.
The Marshall County School District will dismiss at 12:45 today, April 5, 2023 due to the threat of inclement weather. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we want to get students home before the severe weather moves in. The line of storms coming in has produced tornadoes in other states and we want students home before those storms arrive into our area.

The Potts Camp and Mary Reid campuses will dismiss school at 12:00 today (March 3, 2023) due to the power outage and lack of water on campus. We apologize for the short notice, but we want to get students home safely as soon as possible.

That's the way they played every game this season.
